About The Role:

Nomad is looking for a part-time or full-time Fulfillment Associate to join our team. You will be the driving force behind our warehouse operations located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. You will get to interact and learn from each department of our eCommerce company.

The ideal candidate is eager to work at a fast-paced company and is willing and eager to learn and put in some elbow grease as a member of our small, yet powerful, team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all orders are fulfilled daily
• Pick and pack eCommerce orders that are shipped all over the world
• Help outbound large B2B orders
• Assist with inbound inventory and large shipments
• Resolve fulfillment errors with the Customer Support team
• Be the front lines when working with our Logistics and Wholesale team
• Manage relationships with our shipping partners
• Perform monthly inventory counts
• Process and manage RMAs

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Located at Santa Barbara, CA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ownership taker and ability to work/think independently
• Very computer and tech-savvy
• Must be able to work Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and during the holiday season
• Must be able to work during our major sale events

Work Environment:

We're a small team of ~40 people (plus a few remote team members) working out of an office in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. Although we maintain a relatively casual work environment, we are focused, dedicated, and hardworking. We're looking for someone that can come in and be trained and learn quickly and vibe well overall with the rest of the team. Specific industry experience is not necessary (though it is of course welcome), rather you'll need energy for hands-on learning and some general industry knowledge or interest.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
